Financial and Contract Manager 


The studio has grown over the last decade to now employ over 50 staff working on a wide variety of projects and we are looking to fill a new position in the company that will provide the practice with support for financial and contract management.


The role could be full time or part time and will provide the directors and project leads in the studio with support in the following broad areas:




- Writing and managing fee proposals

- Tracking fee expenditure

- Resource/staff planning and monitoring

- Studio wide financial analysis


The role also has the potential to include aspects of design management depending on the applicant’s familiarity with architectural practice.

Ideally we would like to employ someone with experience in the architectural sector, however we would also consider applications from people with experience of similar roles in different sectors. The following skills and experience would be preferable:


- Over three years experience in a similar role

 - Excellent Microsoft Office skills

- Financial management and analysis

- An understanding of the process of architectural practice

- A methodical and analytical approach

- An understanding of appointments and contracts

- Good social skills


We could see that the position would suit a candidate with a design management background looking to move into a role with a broader more practice wide focus, or similarly someone with a financial/contracts background looking to move into a creative industry.
