Pierluigi De Felice

Pierluigi is an architect specialising in visualisation. Since joining the Studio in January 2016 he has worked as the visualiser on almost all our projects.

After completing his architectural studies (M. Arch. 2013), Pierluigi’s postgraduate specialism was in Digital Architecture at the IUAV in Venice. Here he developed skills in 3D modelling and visualisation (programmes including: 3ds Max, Vray, Photoshop, Felix Render, Rhinoceros, Marvelous).

His first work experience was with Bloomimages, an internationally operating visualisation company based in Hamburg and Berlin whose many architectural clients include Herzog de Meuron, OMA, Zaha Hadid, Un Studio, Frank Gehry and David Chipperfield. In Hamburg, Pierluigi improved his post-production techniques for architectural visualisation and photographic and compositional techniques. Here, he worked in collaboration with photographer and artist Giovanni Castell, who uses digital painting to create unreal ambients.

In the UK Pierluigi worked for Pattern Architects in collaboration with the interior design team and as the lead visualiser for Al Rayyan Stadium in Quatar (Winner of Design of the Year Award). During this time, he also worked freelance for the visualisation team, SwanOwl. Before joining Studio Egret West, he worked as a visualiser with The Visualiser Ltd, Glowfrog and ARUP.
