Pelton Road is a scheme for two individual four bedroom dwelling houses and three, two bedroom maisonettes and two, two bedroom apartments in the St Joseph’s conversion. The site was once St Joseph’s community centre but has long been derelict and in recent history been home to squatters. The site is within the London Borough of Greenwich and within the East Greenwich Conservation Area.

The architectural ambition for the new build is to create a large family houses that can fully connect with the outside space. The form of the house mimics the gable end of the existing building taking on the pitched roof line and the chimney breast end. We have proposed white brick for the houses to allow as much light into the amenity spaces and mews street as possible.
