(Re)Working London: An extended exhibition

'(Re)Working London: An exhibition about living with industry’ has been extended until the 13 of July! If you haven’t already, make sure to drop by our Clerkenwell Studio and see SEW and We Made That’s ideas for the future identity of London’s industrial land, focusing on some of our recent works – from speculative through to complete - which explore unusual hybrids and challenge the preconceived ideas of how industry and communities can relate.

Caxton Works is a key feature in the exhibition; this completed project dynamically addresses London’s social and economic need for both industry and housing. Located on a formerly industrial site in Canning Town, Caxton Works arranges 336 homes above light industrial spaces which are designed to attract businesses in need of affordable work.  This symbiosis of previously conflicting uses has seen the scheme nominated in the mixed use category for tomorrow’s New London Awards, which are being held at The Guildhall.
